Analyst Cuts DJ Hero Sales Predictions in Half

Echoing Red Octane's own initial sales expectations for DJ Hero, Cowen and Company analyst Doug Creutz has foreseen a slow start for the Guitar Hero spin-off. In fact, after speaking with retailers about low preorder activity, he's sliced his original sales estimates in half.

I don’t think the game is going to be a massive success right out of the gate. Guitar Hero didn’t really hit its stride until about halfway through the second game. I expect DJ Hero to do very well, but it’s going to take some time to build up momentum.
