It features all 12 fighters from the console version of the game, with Ad Hoc fighting for up to four players, along with a new addition in the form of Legion Mode, a territory control game in which you move your character over a map, taking over new areas via rounds of fighting. BlazBlue Portable is making its way to Japan on February 25th. No word on a North American release, but as long as there's a UMD and you've not upgraded to the PSPgo there's always import shops. Arc System Works porting BlazBlue to PSP

The giant HD sprites of Arc System Works' fighter BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger will be shrunk down a bit. Famitsu has announced that Arc System Works is preparing a PSP port of the fighter. The portable release, out in Japan on February 25, will feature all the characters from the console game, and ad-hoc multiplayer for up to four. It'll also include a new Legion Mode in which players fight to gain territory on a game board. No screens or scans have been released yet.

BlazBlu is coming to the PSP as BlazBlu Portable, joining Soul Calibur : Broken Destiny as former console exclusive fighting games ported to the PSP. The ad-hoc gameplay is perfect for Japan, the only announced region, as I’ve heard most of their multiplayer games happen on trains, subways, buses, and other public transportation that tends to have other gamers on it.
