PC gamers aren't the only ones angry about the way Modern Warfare 2 is shaping up. PC retailers, starting with IGN's Direct2Drive download service, have made the bold move to leave piles of money on the table by refusing to sell it. Many analysts expect Modern Warfare 2 to shatter all kinds of sales records when it releases next week, but some online retailers aren't nearly as excited as you'd imagine. In fact, Direct2Drive, Impulse, and GamersGate have all decided against selling the Call of Duty 4 sequel (via Gamasutra).
