If you've ever been angry that the Japanese market gets a game, system or peripheral before they drop in North America, here's the story for you: The Nintendo DS and Wii are launching in India on September 30th. Years after you got tired of both systems. The Wii shall be priced as INR 19,990 while the DS is to be priced at INR 7,990. That's $462 and $184. Pricey and late, eh?

Do we have any GoNintendo readers from India, or that are currently living in India? My guess would be no, considering Nintendo’s lack of support in the area. Nintendo hasn’t released the Wii or DS in India…but that will soon change. Come September 30th, both platforms will finally be released in India. That’s quite a spectacular gaming launch, if you ask me. A portable and console in one day? Hopefully, this marks the beginning of great support for the country.
