GameDaily BIZ Features Feed — ... Thanks to the successful DSi launch, total DS sales are fast approaching 25 million. Sales of the DS, DS Lite and the DSi have now combined for 24,239,590 units. The DS Lite accounts for the bulk of that total with 17 million sold. The DSi does not yet have an official launch date in the U.S., but the system is likely to arrive sometime in the spring or summer next year. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata recently said that an autumn launch would be "too late." Thanks to Kotaku

Nintendo DSi doing better than expected (by me anyway)
Technology: Games blog | guardian.co.uk — ... but the camera-enhanced DS has shifted over 500,000 units in its first month of sale in Japan. This is practically the same as the orginal DS shifted in the same time period. Impressive stuff then, but I still don't see why the average DS owner would rush out and buy this "upgrade". Am I missing something? Are you planning on getting a DSi – or happy with your DS (or PSP)
