Warner Bros Gets Midway

The company filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in February, but Warner Bros then came along with an offer of $33 million for the majority of the company, leaving out just two studios. That offer was confirmed yesterday by the US courts, meaning Midway has officially been bought. The exact date for the change over will be set in the next ten days, but Midway and its employees can let out a sigh of relief  since the company will continue to exist.
