Did IGN let a new Wii Channel slip?

Wii channel… With a Wii channel already in the works that would output DS’s audio from your TV speakers, it would be an impressive next step to sync the DS game with Wii, and use Guitar Hero Wii to truly interact with the pocket version. We already know the Japanese Wii Channel that works with Band Bros. DX, and does what the paragraph above states. The thing is, that channel only works with Band Bros. DX. Could this be a hint of a new audio channel for all games coming to the Wii? IGN article here ...
