Should Sony Have Focused More On PS3 Sequels Than Originals?
G4 TV - TheFeed —
Like most of you who post on our website, video game industry analyst Matt Matthews has some opinions on what Sony did wrong with the PlayStation 3. But unlike most of the people who post on our website, Matthews has actual numbers and, charts and graphs to back up his assertions.
Leaving aside the hardware aspects of the console, Matthews took a close examination of the sales figures for PlayStation 3 exclusive software. Matthews feels that Sony might have sold more games if it had focused more on sequels and less on developing original property.

The sexiness of Uncharted now more affordable than ever
Sarcastic Gamer —
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is a great game. One of the best the PlayStation 3 has to offer. My opinion you say? No friend, science. The little bugger is still going. Last I heard, he was somewhere in Thailand, hopefully avoiding the spicier varieties of curry. ...
Yes Naughty Dog, I would enjoy more Nathan Drake
Sarcastic Gamer —
... The studio rode the Crash Bandicoot train for four games, so I imagine it can get a lot more mileage out of Uncharted, a much deeper universe, with far more interesting and relatable characters. Plus, the first game has amassed more than 2.6 million sales – bundles included – worldwide, and Sony isn’t in a position to turn a blind eye to that kind of success. Sure, things are looking up for the publisher and developer, but it can’t rely on Ratchet, Jak and Kratos forever. ...
