"I absolutely guarantee you, the thing we're watching most closely now [with Wii titles] is things like Amazon - and I'll go look at women's magazines that have powerful websites, and then we look at what we call 'mommy bloggers'," he says. Peter Moore - Outlets review Wii games last, if at all…and the Metacritic score doesn’t really matter
GoNintendo — ... Moore is absolutely correct. Most big outlets will leave their Wii reviews for last, or they don’t even bother with them. It’s this mentality that really furthers negative stereotypes that the Wii faces. Perhaps if outlets gave equal coverage to Wii/360/PS3, we would see gaming public opinion turn around a little bit. I’d say coverage is equal to that of a handheld…another area I believe the press needs to step things up. Link
