Nintendo DSi Hits North America on April 5

... the DSi will surely be flying off shelves with it’s new features such as a pair of cameras, a voice recorder and the ability to play music from an SD card. The handheld will also introduce its own download application, suitably called DSiWare, with downloadable software starting at 200 DSi points. No word on whether or not the DSiWare will be available at launch, but if Nintendo we’re smart (which they obviously are) they’d have it ready by day one.

... those people who complain about the loss of backwards compatibility, remember this: it’s a small price to pay for the ability to sync 0.3 mega-pixel photos to the Wii Photo Channel!
I haven’t even mentioned the newly designed power button or the reduced battery life (both of which are great new features by the way), but I think you can see just how useful and necessary this upgrade is. I’ll see you in the queue on April 5!
