Rockstar shoots down rumor - no Grand Theft Auto sequel this year

Game Informer published a rumor in their ‘Loose Talk’ section that said that Rockstar might be shipping the next true installment in the Grand Theft Auto series this year. While the talk went on a for a few days, Rockstar has finally stated that there is ‘no truth’ to the rumor. Not too hard to believe…Rockstar still has to pump out all that GTA IV DLC. Oh well, we knew it was a bit of a stretch. Rockstar North have killed off talk of a brand new GTA arriving this year. Speaking to plucky little weblob Kotaku, Rockstar have said categorically that there is “no truth” to the rumors.
