We’ve been talking about the secret Climax/Konami project that is heading to Wii, and talk of Silent Hill has come up more than a few times. Now we are hearing that this project isn’t going to be a new Silent Hill game, but instead, a remake of the first title. A reporter from VG247 stated that the remake will feature motion controls (grumble). They also mentioned that Konami "declined to comment". The entire rumor seems to hinge on the fact that Climax's homepage features two boxes showing that they are currently working with Konami on two projects, one for the Wii and PSP.
Frankly, I'm skeptical. We can all hope though, Climax has done a respectable job with the series so far.
