GoNintendo — “In the home video game software industry, growth in demand for software has leveled off in Japan and North America, due to the popularization of game platforms. Nevertheless, demand remains relatively firm in Europe.” - SEGA financial report The Summer months aren’t really known for big blockbuster games. I think North America has died down a bit because there aren’t really any games that make people want to rush out to retail. Link
