If you read our post about the most recent ‘Iwata Asks’ feature, you saw that Iwata stressed that Nintendo has never been out to compete with Apple. He said that while the DSi and iPhone/iPod Touch share some features, that’s where the similarities end. I have always felt the same way, even if Nintendo has borrowed a few tactics from Apple’s marketing. That’s why I don’t see the iPhone as a real threat to Nintendo’s portable business.
