Well I'm Canadian and I was in the preview program so I guess mine will get fixed at some point. It's no big deal but I sure was insulted enough to google it when I saw a damn 4 on my gamercard. I've been a gold member since freakin day 1 on the Exbox. Not day 2, day 1. In 2002. Curses!

Major. I was a "Gold Member" last month. Through a (1 month gold subscription code) Now its runs out of gold, and returned back to silver membership. Does that 1 month count towards the "Tenure"?

@spinoff90 Not that it matters that much, but I believe my number is out by 2 years as well (Canadian with Gold Account started on the original Xbox).  I got my Xbox Live starter kit when it was first available (November 2002), so after the anniversary this November it should say 7 ...

If anything, this is going to be a major headache to Xbox Support initially for all the complaints they'll get from people claiming their number is incorrect.

It could be great that Tenure affects multiplayer games, specially Halo 3.  There are WAY TOO MANY Cheaters, and Boosters with 1 month accounts.

This reminds me... didn't they have a promo for "live turns 5" last year where everyone was supposed to get something (everyone who had been a member for 5 years).  I never got that award even though I followed all the directions.  Did anybody else get the award?
