Economic trouble may be good for Wii
GoNintendo — Talking about the rough economy is never fun, but in this instance it’s the weak economy that may actually work out in Nintendo’s favor. Many companies are doing everything they can to stay afloat in these trying times, and they’re doing so by cutting costs. One sure-fire way to cut costs is to move game development to the Wii. You can make top-tier games for a fraction of the cash it would cost on PS3/360. That’s why this year may end up being the best year for Wii support yet.
