Come Party In San Francisco, If You Can't Make Denver [Child's Play]
Kotaku —
Can't make the Child's Play party in Denver on November 19? I know I can't, so I'm going to Ümloud! in San Francisco on December 9 instead. Ümloud! is round two of Child's Play's annual charity benefiting sick kids in hospitals across the country. It's going down at the DNA Lounge at 375 Eleventh Street in downtown. There will be Rock Band 2, a ton of prizes and a suggested $10 donation gets you in on it. (Note: I think it's 21 and up, given the full bar.) Regrettably, the DNA Lounge is a bit of a walk from Civic ...

We’re going to raise some money for charity and have a great time doing it.
Live in San Francisco or thereabouts? Then come to Ümloud! on December 9, 2009. We’ll be taking over DNA Lounge, one of the city’s most awesome music venues, and playing Rock Band 2 to raise money for Child’s Play, which generates over a million dollars a year for children’s hospitals around the world.

This SKATE 3 Swag Is SO Going To Charity [Swag Report]
Kotaku —
... Luckily, Ümloud! is right around the corner, so I've got a place to send it straightaway. I already sent the bulk of my swag to the boss in Denver. And if nothing else, this skateboard should be a lot easier to carry on public transit in San Francisco than a 25 pound box of t-shirts. ...
My Mail Got Nerfed [Swag Report]
Kotaku —
... Assuming word doesn't come down from on high that I should break this bad boy open and get down to business, I'll be tossing Neft N-Strike Elite to the Ümloud! onto the pile of swag I'm amassing for the December 9 event. ...
Capcom Gets A- For Sticking To Theme [Swag Report]
Kotaku —
... thing about the event that didn't smack of school was the theme drink list — hence the A- instead of a perfect score. I must've been to a hundred pep rallies between being student body president in high school and president of the anime club in college — and not once did any of my institutions of higher learning shell out for drinks. You can check out the cocktail list below. Here's the swag report (all of which will be up for grabs at Ümloud!): 1 Ginormous sweatshirt I will never wear 1 Fancy-looking notebook 1 ...

News: Retales, Part Two
Penny Arcade —
... , or mloud (!) - represent the spirit at the core of the project. Between independent events and customized wish lists that apply toys directly to the source of pain, we constitute a decentralized, almost guerilla charity. We're up $206,205 over last week, and you can see how much of that came from an "external" source. The quotation marks are there to imply just how little the term means - there is just Child's Play, which shall endure forever. At first completely distributed, now the rally point for wholly organic nodes of contribution, the end result is that we are ...
