Amazon now selling WiiWare titles, starts with World of Goo
Destructoid —
Amazon has finally gotten into the WiiWare-game today, adding World of Goo to its collection of purchasable digital software for consoles. Well, it's not actually World of Goo that you're buying. You're buying a code that will allow you to download World of Goo, and yes, I'm just being nit-picky. The title is the first WiiWare game to appear on Amazon.com, joining a slew of already available Xbox LIVE Arcade titles. Apparently, people who also bought World of Goo purchased UNO for XBLA. ...
Amazon Now Selling WiiWare Games, Too [Wii]
Kotaku —
... in the month, Amazon began selling Xbox Live Arcade titles. Now they're selling WiiWare games too. So, yeah, you can now buy your digital Wii games from someone other than Nintendo. If that's something that's been really tearing you up inside. Since a move like this was rumoured at the time of the original XBLA announcement, it's surely only a matter of time until we see the mega-retailer selling Virtual Console and PlayStation Network titles as well. Sony Was Right: WiiWare Joins XBLA On Amazon
Aeropause Games —
... with what games are sold for just gets your customers mad. You know, customers? The ones who you should give a pleasing experience to when they use your online store?
Will more than World of Goo make it up there? I hope so. Consumers will love it.
Will Sony go onto Amazon? Perhaps, but given that they already charge real money to customers and how far into the hole they are this generation I wouldn’t expect them to want to give any of the profits away.

Amazon dips toe into selling WiiWare games
Ars Technica - Opposable Thumbs —
When Amazon.com began selling Xbox 360 Arcade titles without the need to buy points in arbitrary amounts, gamers were pleased. Now it looks like that may have just been the beginning of the retailer's plans, as a single WiiWare game is available to purchase through Amazon.
Right now you can pick up a copy of World of Goo for the Nintendo Wii for $14.99 and receive a code to download the game. While Nintendo's point system is a little easier to understand—100 points is a dollar—being able to buy a $15 game without worrying about points at all is a very good thing.

Amazon Selling WiiWare Game
G4 TV - TheFeed —
Internet retailer Amazon.com has started selling codes for WiiWare games on its site. Well, actually, one WiiWare game: Innovative indie puzzler World of Goo. The company hasn’t announced its intention to sell online content for Nintendo’s console, and the fact that there is only one game available suggests that Amazon is testing things out for now. If it works out, I assume more WiiWare content will be available, and hopefully DSiWare content too.
It’s clear that Amazon is making a big push into the video game space -- it's buying used games and selling Xbox Live Arcade ...
WiiWare games appear on Amazon
That VideoGame Blog —
Earlier, we told you that Amazon had begun selling Xbox Live Arcade titles through their website. Continuing its march for digital purchase domination, the online retailing giant has begun offering WiiWare games, with World of Goo being the first out of the gate. The game is being offered at full price, which does not really make sense as the whole draw of the XBLA offer was the discount. If Amazon is reading this, drop the price a bit and gamers will come, we promise.
