Holy. Crap. I hope you're sitting down, because the three minutes of Left 4 Dead 2 footage above is more incredible than I had thought it would be before I pressed play. And believe me, I had pretty high expectations. I'll also be honest, I don't know what it is -- the game's intro, a really expensive promo video, or a message from God. But when it's this awesome, who cares? Left 4 Dead 2 ships in November, and I'm thinking about starting up a petition to get Valve to ship it next week. Who's with me?

Today a new trailer for Left 4 Dead 2 was somehow leaked onto the Internet.
This time, rather than showing any actual in-game footage, the trailer feature all pre-rendered scenes that give some insight into each of the new characters, as well as showing off some of the new special infected. Oh yeah, there is also a ton of zombie guts!

This may be the best trailer for a videogame I’ve ever seen. Hell, it might be the best trailer I’ve ever seen. Valve are getting great at making these short films; the characters shine through even with two minutes of screen time, and it makes me want the game even more.
