Wario Paint!
4 color rebellion —
Ok, so it’s not exactly Wario Paint, but the similarities to Mario Paint are very obvious. As someone who didn’t have the pleasure of owning Mario Paint when it was released on the SNES, I am very very excited for the newest Wario Ware title, Made in Ore. Not only does it contain 90 microgames for your enjoyment, but you can design your own! Being pessimistic about the creation aspect due to Nintendo’s previous efforts (Brawl’s level creator…how many games has Nintendo made with creation tools?), I assumed it would involve picking a type of microgame, choosing premade graphics and music, and putting it all together in a way that almost ...
Made in Ore commercials. The spastic dude with the wall of hair...

> > Made in Ore commercials. The spastic dude with the wall of hair is comedian “Sekai no Nabeatsu,” whose bit is that he counts aloud and acts silly at multiples of 3 and numbers containing 3, as well as sometimes barking at 5s. Yep. There’s even a Nabeatsu calculator!

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata recognizes the UGC's importance in its future game, and explained at an investor meeting earlier this year, "The reason why we feel the potential of [UGC] through the Internet is because the fun that is generated by UGC can be appreciated by a higher percentage of our consumers as a fresh experience."
"There are some ...
Coming soon: Make your own WarioWare games
Aeropause Games —
GameSetWatch has a look at an exciting DSiWare game coming to Japan in only a few weeks, Made in Ore… which amounts to a WarioWare game where you can make your own levels! The promo video (straight from Japan’s version of the Wii’s Nintendo Channel) shows how you can draw your own sprites, compose your own music, and define your own gameplay (I’m guessing there are several pre-determined WarioWare game style templates). GameSetWatch reports that budding WarioWarists can share their levels online, and that Nintendo will regularly post their own new levels for users to ...
