Tiny Cartridge — > > Homebrew DS game played on DSi. Yasu, the same programmer who was able to run unofficial code on the DSi despite Nintendo’s anti-piracy measures, has put up a video showing the new handheld playing Pop’n DS, a rhythm title based on Konami’s Bemani series. It’s not clear whether he’s running the game through a slot-1 flashcart or an SD card, but some claim that Yasu is using a “save game exploit,” which Nintendo could potentially patch with future firmwas upgrades. There are supposedly three known save game exploits, all of which can play ...

DSi running homebrew - more proof
GoNintendo — Direct link here The same man that put out the ‘Hello World!” DSi video is now backing up his homebrew claims, through the homebrew game you see above. It is indeed being run on the DSi, and the homebrew community believes that a save game exploit is the key to bringing homebrew back to life. Unfortunately, it sounds like this exploit could easily be patched by Nintendo. Link
