Get your holiday on: Rock Band Special Edition Bundle for PS2 and Wii is $99
Destructoid —
Yes, some people do not have Rock Band yet -- hard for those of us to imagine who have been rocking out to it for a long time, but that bundle is pricey! Or at least, it was. Today it was announced that the Rock Band Special Edition bundle for PS2 and Wii will be marked down to $99. That's almost ... cheap! Of course, you can still get the bundle for the 360 and PS3 for $139.99, which isn't half bad either. At any rate, this ought to make quite a few kids scream on Christmas morning ... lets just hope parents have video cameras ready for a possible Nintendo 64 redux.

Chime In: Holiday Gaming
4 color rebellion —
It’s that time of year again! Time to (hopefully) kick back and get lost in some great games. And that means it’s also time for the question: What will you be playing over the holiday?
Most of the guys on staff have been talking about one game only for the last few months, Fallout 3, and I suppose that means a good number of them will still be playing it over the next week. I, on the other hand, am yet lost in the bliss that is Mother 3, this due to having precious little time to play anything over the last couple months. But it’s a nice place to be.
And for old time’s sake, the video after the break. ...

I’m late with this, but it’s the though that counts. Imagine looking back at website once we’re all rich and famous. The holiday wishes shouldn’t be missing from the 2008 archive. SEGA SATURN Thank you for still passing by VGV. 2009’s archive should be filled with fun stuff fast. Either that, or I do end up chasing a career in acting. Who knows? Have a prosperous 2009! Ps. Found the Saturn in Tokyo for 1900 yen (12 euro’s). It arrived by boat 2 weeks before Christmas. Button Reference ...

Nintendo1 Kids Love Nintendo, Like A Lot Remember the Nintendo 64 Kid ? How can anyone not, as gamers we’ve all been there at one point in our lives. Hell mine was on ninth of the ninth 1999… but regardless it seems that kids like the N64 Kid are becoming a common place. A recent study done by Smarty Pants called Young Love, targeting seven to twelve year olds and their favourite commodities. The result? Wii at number one and the DS at number two, wow. This will probably ...

Have you ever heard of Tosh.0? It’s a new(ish) show on Comedy Central that focuses on the internet. Think of it as The Soup, but for nothing but viral videos.

Tosh.0 giving 'N64 Kid' a second chance
Joystiq —
It was with awkward trepidation that we first approached Comedy Central's Internet content-laden Tosh.0 -- working online all day can leave you feeling a bit strange when you find the same content in the TV box, ya know? But when we read over at GoNintendo that the exuberant comedian would be giving his famed "Web Redemption" ...
