Everyone knows that the Wii can't do HD, but is that all about to change? No it isn't unfortunately, but that doesn't mean that there aren't ways to drag your Wii games kicking and screaming into the 21st century graphically. The Dolphin PC Wii Emulator lets players run their Wii games in 720p, rather than than the 480p the device itself is limited to. One dolphin user, Renebarahona has uploaded some videos to show off what the emulator can do, just make sure you click the HD button while you're watching. It's not all good news though, as emulating current-gen consoles needs a fairly powerful PC and Dolphin can only run disc images of Wii games, as a PCs DVD drive ...

With the release of the Wii Dolphin emulator, you can copy your Wii games over to your PC and view them in 720p. Of course, before you start doing this it's good to remember that you should actually own the games you are trying out instead of making sinister deals on the internet in order to get ROMs for games you don't own. Also, you will probably need a fairly decent computer to pull this off and have it run well.
But keeping those two things in mind, why not give it a shot? It can be a little buggy (as you can see in the videos) but it just released. Has anyone out there tried it? I want to hear ...
